About the event
This year's summer reading program theme is All Together Now and we look forward to encouraging young readers to explore all possibilites of adventures in the books they read. Not only will your children be working towards their reading goals, but they'll be learning important qualities such as Teamwork, Friendship, Unity, Kindness, and have plenty of fun while at it!
Kindness - Day 1
June 2nd
(10am - 11:30am)
Registration day! Let’s get to know each other through games and activities. While learning about each other, the children will be given goals to reach over the course of the program. They must find ways to exhibit Kindness, Teamwork, Unity, and Friendship.
Teamwork - Day 2
June 9th
(10am - 11:30am)
Learn about teamwork through games such as Three-Legged Race, “I’ve Got Your Back”, Pass the Water, and Down the Line!
Unity - Day 3
June 16th
(10am - 11:30am)
The kids will have a blast as they unite to move a giant parachute outdoors in a variety of games.
Friendship - Day 4
June 23rd
(10am - 11:30am)
Everyone must work together to find the treasure chest of prizes in a scavenger hunt! Afterwards the kids share how they’ve used the lessons they’ve learned over the program.
